3 Things All Work At Home Opportunists Need To Do To Survive Online

Correct me if I'm wrong here but every work at home opportunist is always looking for the most successful market that provides the biggest paycheck. Duh! But understand that there is no magic formula. It all comes down to good old fashion marketing practices that have been proven over the years. And it requires hard work and dedication. Ouch!

We all like new things, but there is something to be said for the tried and true. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The following 3 tactics have worked in the past and they will continue to work in the future, if you will take the actions required.

1) Use unique web pages to promote each separate product you are marketing. Trying to save money on web hosting by lumping everything together is not the best marketing technique. More pages also helps in page rankings.

You should always include product reviews on the website explaining the features and benefits of the products you are promoting. And get testimonials from people which cover the most exciting benefits.

Write articles, kind of like I'm doing, highlighting the features and benefits of the products and put them on the websites as additional pages. These pages should be attractive, compelling, and have a call to action. And don't forget the headline. It needs to attract the reader and make them want to read the articles.

2) Offer free stuff. Everyone likes free stuff. But make them opt in in order to get it. Obviously this free stuff must be exciting enough to make the reader want to give you their email address, so make it a compelling offer. No! Make it a killer offer. Then let your autorepsonder take over and continue to build a relationship with your prospect. Most sales are not made on the 1st contact. Relationship building is the way to long term success. You should have a series of at least 10 follow up emails already prepared for this purpose, and then continue to build on this.

3) GET THE TRAFFIC. Targeted traffic. There are a myriad of of different ways of driving targeted traffic to your website. Some free. Some not so free. Some short term. Some long term. Traffic is the life blood of all businesses so make sure you do your part to make this happen. Remember, only 1 out of 100 people who see your offer will take advantage of it. So the more targeted traffic you can generate, the more successful you will become. It is a numbers game. And the more you play the game...the more you practice, test, tweak, improve...the better the numbers will work for you.

A good source of free, targeted, long term traffic is Article Marketing. This form of marketing has many benefits and advantages over other forms of marketing, but many people do not take advantage of it because of the work involved. It does not have to take that much work, as the writing can be outsourced. But that makes it no longer free. But the other advantages remain.
Once you do the work, the pay offs remain for years. If you can consistently write 2 articles a week and post them on high quality, high traffic article directories, before you know it you will be receiving more and more high quality traffic to your websites.
